What does it cost to stay at LGAR?
Our daily rate for a semi-private room is $250.00 per day. Our daily rate for a private room is $265.00 per day.
The amount you are personally responsible for is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, any nursing home or health insurance coverage, deductibles or co-payments you may have and other charges such as hair salon services or television charges.
Can my physician take care of me at LGAR?
We have a staff of physicians affiliated with our facility. If your physician is not on our staff but would like to remain as your attending doctor, he or she can become credentialed to join our medical staff.
What do I bring for admission?
We suggest 5-7 days worth of wash and wear clothing, along with sturdy non-slip shoes. You may wish to bring some things to personalize your room. We are not responsible for valuables so suggest those be left in the care of family or friends. An inventory of your belongings is maintained so always let the staff know what clothing and personal items you have.
Can I leave the facility for a period of time?
Since you have medical needs that require a stay in a long term care facility, most insurances do not cover leaves from the facility. While residing with us, we are responsible to assure physician orders are followed and medical needs are monitored which cannot be done if away from the facility. Should an unusual circumstance occur, we will discuss a leave with the physician.
What are the visiting hours?
Family and friends can visit 24 hours per day. However, as a courtesy to those sharing rooms, personal care needs and rehabilitation schedules, most residents prefer visits between 10 am and 8 pm.
Can I visit in the rehabilitation department?
We are not able to welcome families or pets to visit in the rehab gym in respect of the privacy needs of all of our residents as they receive treatments. Our therapists will schedule phone or onsite meetings to discuss your progress with the resident and family.
